Easy Chickpea Masala

This is an easy, nutritious and delicious recipe, it’s a great cupboard meal and perfect for all the family or great for meal prepping as it freezes really well. This recipe is gluten, dairy free, vegetarian & vegan friendly

  • 1 Can Chickpeas, drained
  • 1 Can Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Cup Coconut milk
  • 6 Garlic cloves·
  • 4 Tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 Cup Onions, chopped
  • 1 Pepper, chopped
  • 10 Grams Coconut oil 


  • Heat your coconut oil in a pan
  • Add your chopped onions and peppers and fry until lightly browned
  • Add your chickpeas, tomatoes, coconut milk, garam masala & stir
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Gently simmer for10-12 minutes until the liquid reduces to a thick sauce
  • Serve on a bed of wholegrain rice and enjoy!
