Easy Matcha Almond Oat Cakes

These bite size little oat cakes are absolutely perfect and perfect for breakfast. Boosted with amazing matcha powder they are perfect as a healthy treat or snack. Being both savoury and sweet they’re super versatile too. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian & vegan friendly

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Ground oats 
  • 2 Tbsp Matcha powder
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut sugar
  • 1 Tsp Baking powder
  • 4 Tsp Almond nibs
  • 1/3 Cup Tahini
  • 2 Tbsp Almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla essence

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180∞Celcius 
  • To bowl add your ground outs, matcha powder, almond nibs, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda and stir to combine
  • In a separate bowl add your tahini, maple syrup, almond milk, & vanilla essence and stir to combine
  • Add your oat mixture to the wet ingredient and stir to combine & make your dough
  • Transfer the dough to a chopping board and press down with your hands to compact
  • Using a cookie cutter cut out your cakes (again compact in the mixture as your cutting them out
  • Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper
  • Bake in oven for 12 minutes (set a timer) or until slightly golden, enjoy

Note: if you don’t have ground oats, simply put regular oats in your blender and until they become a fine powder
