Fresh Pumpkin Puree
Pumpkin Puree is not only delicious but packed with valuable nutrients. It’s also really versatile with you being able to incorporate it into loads of different recipes both sweet and savoury.

- 1 Small pumpkin (these are better for cooking with)
Using a sharp knife (a bread knife works really well), cut of the top of the pumpkin.
Cut the pumpkin in half.
Remove the seeds and stringy contents (you can save the seeds for later if you wish)
Line a baking tray with tinfoil and place the pumpkin halves with the inside facing down
Place in an oven at 180℃ for 35 minutes (you’ll know it’s done if you test with a knife and it slides through easily)
Remove from the oven and using a knife remove the skin.
Slice the pumpkin into small pieces (this will help it blend easier) and place in a large bowl to cool.
Add to a large blender and blend until you achieve a smooth consistency, you’re puree is now ready to go!
