Easy Chia Cranberry Sauce

With the purest ingredients this sauce is not only super nutritious but it’s also versatile in that we can use it in yogurts, cereals, and as a perfect dinner sauce. It is also gluten free, dairy free, vegan & vegetarian friendly!

Ingredients

  • 3 ¾ Cups Fresh cranberries
  • 1 Cup Maple syrup
  • ½ Cup orange juice
  • 3 Tablespoons Chia seeds

Instructions

  • Add the cranberries, orange juice and maple syrup to a pot on a high heat, bring to the boil and then reduce to a simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously (the cranberries should begin to soften)
  • Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and mash the cranberries 
  • Start adding in the chia seeds, stirring in a little at a time until combined
  • Cover the sauce, place in the fridge to set 1-2 hours and enjoy!
  • Note: Stored in a sealed container, it will keep really well in the fridge for 4-5 days
