Easy Matcha Protein Balls
Such an easy & versatile recipe with the amazing nutritional benefits of matcha along with a protein boost. They work great as a healthy snack or post work out. As a bonus they’re gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan friendly
Servings: 12 Protein Balls
- 1 Cup Desiccated coconut
- ¼ Cup Coconut flour
- 3 Tbsp Honey/agave syrup
- 1 Scoop (30g) of protein powder (I prefer vanilla as it’s neutral)
- 2 Tbsp 2 Tablespoons of melted coconut oil
To a blender add all of your ingredients and blend until combined
Transfer to a large mixing bowl and further mix with your hands
Using your hands shape the mixture into 12 small protein balls, be sure to compact them well with your hands
Drizzle with a little more desiccated coconut and enjoy
You are now ready to serve or store in a sealed container in the fridge for 4-5 days
