Easy Cinnamon Apple Porridge Oats
A warm and hearty breakfast recipe with the purest ingredients. It’s also quick and easy! The oats work as a slow release carbohydrate and the addition of cinnamon helps to stabilise your blood sugar levels, keeping you full for longer and preventing sugar cravings. The apple contains a fibre called pectin which helps to promote digestive health. It’s also gluten free, dairy free, vegan & vegetarian friendly!
Melt the coconut oil in a small saucepan
Add the apples and saute for approximately 3 minutes, until slightly softened
Add the porridge oats and coconut milk and bring to the boil
Reduce the heat to a simmer and add the cinnamon
Stir continuously for a further 3 minutes
Serve topped with walnuts
