Easy Healthy Hummus Recipe

If you’re looking for an easy healthy snack this easy healthy hummus recipe is perfect. Being gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan friendly is an added bonus!

  • 1 Tin Chickpeas, drained (400g)
  • 5 Tbsp Tahini
  • 5 Tbsp Water
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Smoked paprika
  • ½ Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Pepper


  • In a small bowl add the olive oil, crush/finely chop the garlic clove, add to the oil and set aside for 10-15 minutes to infuse.
  • To a blender add your drained chickpeas, tahini, water, garlic olive oil, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt & pepper and blend until you form a smooth puree (if still too thick, add a little more water and stir)
  • Add a little more salt & pepper to season if required
  • Chop carrots and celery into batons to dip and enjoy!
