Easy Parsley & Basil Hummus

This is such quick, easy and delicious hummus recipe! Perfect for a dip with sliced vegetables, wholegrain crackers or as a healthy sandwich filling. It’s also naturally gluten free dairy free, vegetarian and vegan friendly!

Ingredients

  • ¼ Cup Tahini
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Handful Fresh Parsley, roughly chopped and stems removed
  • 1 Handful Fresh Basil, roughly chopped and stems removed
  • ½ Cup White Onion, diced
  • 2 Large Garlic cloves, crushed
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tin Chickpeas, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  • To high speed blender, add the tahini and lemon juice and blend until combined
  • Add olive oil, parsley, basil, onions and salt and blend on high speed for about a minute, stir and blend 2 more times
  • Add half of the chickpeas, blend on a high speed, stir and blend 2 more times
  • Add the remaining chickpeas and blend a further 3 times, stir in between
  • Transfer to a small serving bowl and enjoy!
